Sterling

John Sterling was a Scottish author and collaborator of the Rev. F. D. Maurice's who married into the Barton family. Sterling was the second name not just for Robert, but for his older son Edgar Sterling M-P and the latter's only son, as well as other members of the Barton and Murray-Prior families.
