The painting shown here, presumably Thomas Prior, was photographed at the late E. Sterling and B.I. M-P's home. Its current whereabouts is unknown. The family assumed it was of Thomas Prior but had had no identification.

There is possibly another portrait of Thomas Prior as Rosa Praed left a 'small portrait' of her grandfather in uniform to [Thomas?] Bertram M-P.¹⁾ Definitely not the one above which was not 'small'!
