Redmond Morres and Elizabeth Lodge

Francis and Catherine Morres' son, Redmond Morres Esq. (1711-84) was a barrister and Member of Parliament for Dublin during 1761-68 and 1773-76. His wife Elizabeth (1713-1806) was another heiress, the only (surviving?) daughter of Francis Lodge of Dublin. They married in Dublin on 27 March 1740. They had a daughter Frances (1744-?) and two sons. The youngest was Rev Reymond Morres.1)

Their eldest son, Lodge Evans Morres, (1747-1822) became Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland and was created Baron Frankfort of Galmoy in 1800 then Viscount Frankfort de Montmorency in 1816.2)
